Take 2 fellas; Baz, a 42-year veteran owner driver wanting to get away from trucks and Wayne, a guy looking for his next challenge. Together with our wives, we created a partnership called WOMMBAC. Our aim was to build a mobile machine that was capable of cleaning out sheep sheds, particularly low ones, that other operators found too difficult and expensive to do.

We looked at many different ideas with no success until Baz spotted on the internet a promising but worn-out piece of equipment located in the South Island. When Wayne first eye-balled this machine, he could see no reason why this equipment could not be modified to do the job.

This challenge became Wayne’s focus. This used equipment was purchased and over a 12 month period it was redesigned, rebuilt and modified to become the turbine vacuum system that we operate today.
