We are a South Island operation……We clean under farm sheds with an efficient machine that leaves no waste – the only one in New Zealand that can do this.
We mainly work on sheep sheds, but we are able to take on deer, goat, calf sheds and covered yards too. We are able to work on sheds as low as 300mm without causing any damage to its structure.

Booking Our Service
It is important to book as soon as possible so we can plan and advise you of our scheduled position. We need pre-bookings to bring us into an area, but farmers can book while we are there and are welcome to view.
Pre-booked sheds will bring us into the area (6 average size sheds will make it economical). Times of site arrival may vary but we keep you well informed of our movements. Scheduling may change occasionally.
We try hard to organise and clean sheds in pods (cleaning several sheds in close proximity to each other around our mobile base). This allows us to keep costs down for farmers and makes it more convenient for us logistically. If we can help reduce your costs, we will.
Our Machine/System
We researched a lot of systems and machinery to create an efficient service. We found that creating an efficient turbine vacuum system showed the best potential. It is quicker and is more economical.
We named her Bertha. Bertha is an efficient and unique turbine vacuum system. She efficiently extract poo from under farm sheds DOING NO DAMAGE, produces functional tilth and often eliminates the need for Bobcats and Dingos etc.
There are a number of contractors doing a similar job with different types of equipment that have up to 4 staff and several mobile machines. Those systems do have a place in this business but are limited to what they can do.
Our Process
Bertha can reach 50+ metres under a shed to remove poo. She processes it from a cruddy mess into a fine silky tilth, capable of being spread back onto the land, allowing farmers to recover most if not all of the cleaning costs. Alternatively, it could be used or sold as untreated organic manure for putting on gardens.
Recovering Your Costs
Bertha is the only apparatus in New Zealand capable of removing and re-processing the poo onsite. It is processed into a fine tilth that can immediately be re-spread back on the land by hand or spreader.
This allows farmers to recover most if not all the cost of cleaning out the shed. Many use it to put on gardens. Our research reveals the poo would easily be worth more than $1 per kg.
We regularly extract an average of 20+ tonnes (our biggest haul being 65 tonne) from under sheds. At $1 per kg that is $20,000.00 of usable manure. The tilth is very concentrated. We recommend the newly processed poo be spread thinly. It can be mixed with fine soil: 3-5 parts soil to 1 part poo, spread with other manure or spread sparingly in its virgin state.
There is absolutely no damage or waste with Bertha.
